ABOUT ROMY
I have been active in the equestrian world for more than 15 years
My name is Romy, and I live in Gerwen (North Brabant). I’ve been active in the equestrian world for over 15 years, and my passion for horses has grown into my day job.
In 2023, I successfully completed the Equine, Sports & Business associate’s degree program. During this program, I delved into all aspects of the equine sector, from horse welfare and health to nutrition, training, laws and regulations, and business management. This broad knowledge forms the foundation of Romy’s Equine Services, my own company.
Romy’s Equine Services is dedicated to taking the burden off horse owners, dealers, breeders, and professionals. Whether it involves TRACES documentation, import and export assistance, customs formalities, database registrations, or other administrative tasks, I ensure that everything is handled carefully, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable regulations.
MY STRENGTH
A positive attitude, perseverance, and the ambition to continually develop myself
In addition to my work, I am still actively involved in equestrian sports. In dressage, I have successfully trained several ponies and horses up to the Z level. I have also trained several show jumpers to a height of 1.30 meters, after which they were successfully sold. This practical experience gives me insight not only into the sport itself, but also into everything that goes along with it in terms of health, management, transportation, and international regulations.
