Important Update for Horse Owners and Transporters
The NVWA has recently clarified the rules regarding the transport of horses. As a result, a previous basic registration may no longer be sufficient, and you may need a Type I or even a Type II transporter’s license for your specific situation.
This depends, among other things, on the purpose of the transport, whether it involves commercial activity, and the duration of the trip.
Are you planning a trip with horses? Be sure to check carefully which registration or permit applies to you.
